The Darwinian Doctor
In this post, I penned a letter to my two boys about the importance of health. It’s something that we honestly don’t talk about enough, perhaps because it seems so self explanatory. Or perhaps it’s because money and personal finance seems so much more important?
As a urologist, my patient population tends to be older. It always amazes me that some 80 year olds are living their best life, enjoying their golden years with vigor. Many of my other 80 year old patients are riddled with disability, though. While some of this divide is certainly genetic, a lot of it is also due to a focus on health.

The Prudent Plastic Surgeon
Last but not least, Jordan Frey, MD published a guest post by Dr. Sendhil Krishnan, a cardiologist in California who specializes in senior assisted living homes. Apparently this niche of real estate investing is particularly in demand as America continues to get older.
It just goes to show that there are almost endless ways to make money in real estate (while also serving your community)!
