I think this is a great reminder, especially in this era of social media. Half of what you see out there is not actual reality. And for the half that is actually as successful as they seem, it likely didn’t happen overnight. It usually takes years of steady effort and growth to achieve success.

The Darwinian Doctor
In this post, I talked about my recent experience as a locum tenens physician. After moving to Memphis, I gave up traditional employment and now split my time between locum tenens urology and real estate investing. This experiment has been going on for about three months now and there are clear wins from this approach in terms of income efficiency and autonomy. He highlights what I realized when I switched from stock investment over to real estate investment: every dollar of passive income is equivalent to $25 of retirement savings. Why? Because of the 4% rule.
