Effective date: July 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how OpenClaw Secure Ops, operated by Daniel Shin, accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when an authorized user connects a Google account. OpenClaw Secure Ops is a private, limited-use operations application and is not offered as a public consumer service.
Scope and purpose
The application provides authorized users with secure tools for inbox organization, file search, and scheduling context. Google account access is requested only when needed to provide these user-facing features.
Google information the application may access
- Gmail: messages, message metadata, labels, and attachments when needed for authorized inbox review, organization, or related workflows.
- Google Drive: file names, metadata, and file contents when an authorized user searches for or opens a file through the application.
- Google Calendar: event details and metadata used to provide scheduling context and authorized calendar features.
- Account information: basic Google account identity information used to confirm which account has been connected.
How information is used
Google user information is used only to provide and maintain the private features requested by the authorized user, troubleshoot those features, protect the service, and comply with applicable law. It is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or used to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Storage and security
The application operates in a private server environment. Reasonable administrative, technical, and access controls are used to protect OAuth credentials and Google-derived information, including encrypted network connections, restricted access to operational secrets, and access limited to authorized users and administrators. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Sharing and disclosure
Google user information is not shared with third parties except with infrastructure or service providers strictly as necessary to operate the application, when required for security or legal compliance, or with the user’s explicit consent. Service providers may process information only to deliver the contracted service.
Human access
Human access to Google user information is limited to the authorized user and administrators acting with that user’s permission, or when access is necessary for security, legal compliance, or service support.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested features, maintain security, or satisfy legal obligations. Users may revoke the application’s Google access through Google Account third-party connections. To request deletion of OAuth credentials or retained Google-derived information, contact [email protected].
User choices and control
Connecting a Google account is voluntary. An authorized user can decline requested permissions, disconnect the application, or request deletion. Revoking access may prevent features that depend on Google data from functioning.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The use of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when application features, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
