My name is Daniel Shin, MD. I'm a board certified urologic surgeon, real estate investor, and educator. I want to accelerate your journey to financial independence so you can live life on your own terms.

Though my childhood was blessed in many ways, we were a first generation immigrant family and went through some dark times including a foreclosed house and years of financial insecurity.

I saw education as my way out, and after 15 years of school and training, I finally became a physician! I had achieved everything I had worked towards, but I was also $300,000 in debt. After a couple years of an employed surgeon job in SoCal, I found myself burnt out and financially handcuffed to my job.

During one of my daily hour long commutes, I saw the trajectory of my life and resolved to change its direction.

I took control of my financial destiny and mapped out a path to financial independence. Now my family has a growing portfolio of investments of stocks, index funds, and real estate.

We're on a fast track to financial independence within the next 5-10 years.

I now work 25% in medicine as a Locum Tenens and 75% of my time as a real estate investor via my own portfolio and Cereus Real Estate.
